I am not a big lover of chili but growing up I always loved my Dad's chili. I didn't have the recipe when he died and after lots of digging in my memories and trial and errors I finally figured it out. It's a 'sweet' chili rather than a spicy one but could very easily be spiced up. It always gets rave reviews whenever I make it.

  1. Chop up veggies and brown with meat on medium
  2. Add tomato juice, beans and tomato's into a pot/crock pot on medium
  3. When meat is browned, drain and add 1/2 cup of water into the meat and add the chili-o mix

  5. Cook for one hour (we cook it from noon to around 6 p.m), then simmer until ready to eat!
